Grammar in Context

The dialogue uses quedar to describe how clothes fit: Me queda bien, me queda un poco grande, and esta me queda mejor. In this structure, the clothing is the subject, so the verb changes with the item.

Use me queda with one singular item: La chaqueta me queda bien. Use me quedan with plural items: Los pantalones me quedan largos. The adjective also changes: grande, pequeña, largos, cómodas.

The dialogue also uses object pronouns with clothing nouns: la for la chaqueta in ¿La tiene también en beige? and me la llevo. For masculine items like el abrigo, say ¿Lo tiene en negro? and me lo llevo.
